2 causes: Aortic insufficiency or an av fistula can cause this type of abnormal physiology. You should see a cardiologist.

Being athletic: This is physiologic rather than pathologic when a large stroke volume, often accompanied by a slow heart rate, is produced by the very strong heart. I've seen it often as a sometime sports physician.
