Glucophage: Glucophage,if taken without food in the stomach, can irritate the stomach lining and cause nausea. Rehydrate or other electrolyte products, won't do much for nausea but would help if vomiting or diarrhea had caused electrolyte imbalance or dehydration. I feel it's important to take glucophage with food. It can also cause dangerous lactic acidosis if there is associated kidney function impairment.
