A member asked:

Why do headaches (not migraines) come accompanied with nausea? do headaches cause nausea or vice versa?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood vessels: This is due to the disruption in blood flow in certain areas of the brain. There are areas of the brain very sensitive to the changes in the blood flow. If the blood flow changes, increases or decreases, like it happens when there's a headache, more specifically migraine, this irritates the area of the brain that causes the vomit reflex.
