Doctor can evaluate: A doctor or the ER can evaluate, if such symptoms are worrisome or persist. Nausea can be due to many things such as: stomach virus infection, other viral infection (such as flu), some bacterial infections (such as strep throat), gastric reflux (heartburn), gastritis (may be H. pylori), gall bladder disease, certain cancers, pregnancy, some kidney diseases, medications effects, etc...
