A member asked:

Can hiv or aids be transmitted by shedding skin flakes from a person's psoriasis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Hiv infection is acquired through unprotected sex, injection drug use, transfusion of hiv-infected blood products, or from mother to child. You cannot get hiv/aids from shedding skin from psoriasis.
