All glasses distort: It's an optics problem, but the brain can partly adapt to it. Looking through the center of a lens should give a view of straight lines. Looking through the edge of a lens will show curved lines. The distortion is greater at the far edges of a lens, meaning big diameter lens will seem to distort more. Lenses with higher diopter power seem to distort more. One solution is to wear contact lenses.
