Time to see doc: You likely have high blood pressure and will need meds aside from a comprehensive program that will include lifestyle recommendations. Weight loss will also be needed if applying to your situation. Work up may also be needed in case response not a expected to recommended changes. Use same physician going forward as hypertension is a chronic disease.

Not an advice forum: But in general, high blood pressure needs its cause diagnosed. This can be done by one's primary care doctor. A patient can help by writing a symptom diary that describes symptoms, when they began, what makes them better or worse, any meds or supplements used, etc... She can record her blood pressure 3 times a day (morning, mid-day, evening) to show the doctor. For bad symptoms, the ER can check.
