Cause of the cough: The cause of the cough should be determined. If you have nasal congestion, nasal saline rinses are helpful. If you have a history of wheezing, you may need an inhaler. Please follow up with a physician. If you cough for more than 3 weeks, your physician will evaluate your for chronic cough.
