My 2,5 year old has not passed a bowl movement for 8 days. we have tried everything from suppository to laxative and prune juice. hes stomach is stiff. not sure what to do?

Assistance required: It will likely take an infant enema administered by someone with experience to help get past this problem. Call his doc & see what they can arrange. It is unlikely another potion or home effort will be successful. A plan to stop the stool with holding pattern will also need to be worked out. This problem can last years if not treated aggressively.
