Yes.: Every vaccine has been tested to determine how many total vaccinations it requires to provide immunity from a disease. If you do not finish the recommended number of courses for a given vaccine, you run the risk of not actually being immune to that given disease. If you have started a series, and have not had serious side effects, i would recommend finishing.

Depends: If you want to get long term benefit from the shots you have taken you need to complete the series. If you don't care, don't bother. The benefit is for you and indirectly to those who count on you.
