Would not hurt you: You can get immune tested instead to see if you have immunity already if a chance you completed hepatitis a or b series (you don't mention which series) the blood test would tell you if you have had enough vaccine or need further in the series if uncertain. Sometimes people just opt to do the shots instead anyway & --even if you may have had shots--your reaction will be minor. This option ok too.
