A member asked:

How will i know if i am suffering through sexomania? are there any indications for people living by themselves?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hmmm....: Doesn't sound like an official medical term. Thus, a patient can consider himself or herself to be suffering from it if his doctor writes "sexomania" on his diagnosis list. It can also depend on what a patient believes the definition to be. If one believes the definition is "having sexual intercourse while fully asleep," then people living by themselves won't know and shouldn't have to worry.
