Sure: Merely being mentally and physically exhausted is something serious. One's primary care doctor can evaluate such situations. A patient can help her doctor by writing down her symptoms and details such as when they started, how severe they are, what makes them better or worse, what treatment has been tried, etc... If any worrisome current symptoms, a local ER can help as well.
