Went to gyno, got a routine exam done (not a pap smear). now (4 days later) i am bleeding (quite a bit). it started the day of exam and got worse from there. i have iud and havent had a period in months. is this normal? what should i do?

Copper IUDs: bleed more, however progestin IUD's can allow some bleeding. If the bleeding continues, an exam, ultrasound with your doctor is appropriate.
