A member asked:

Is it ok to walk on a sprained ankle even if your limping?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: It is not ok. The sprain is caused because one of the ligaments that keeps your ankle in the right position got stretched too much. That ligament need to be immobilized for at least 1 week in order to recover. If this is not done the ankle will heal anyway but the ligament will be stretched out and the risk of having a sprain in the same place increases.
