Not usually: If one has concurrent bacterial or viral infectious process together with Hodgkin lymphoma, then the blood count could be abnormal. Diagnosis of Hodgkin, in early stages usually does not imply changes in blood counts. Therapy for Hodgkin will alter the blood count. So if your blood count is abnormal, check with your MD what could be causes. , Hodgkin may also show mild WBC increase fever etc.
