A member asked:

I started taking birth control pills in june 2018 (progestin-only). they gave me depression and highly reduced sex drive. i stopped taking them around mid august 2018, but i still have a very low. could it be from those pills? any suggestions to reme

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, the pills are : out of your system in about 4 or 5 days after stopping them. Other issues that affect your hormones, polycystic ovarian syndrome/insulin resistance for example, are likely related at this point.
