Doctor can examine: If one has uncomfortable tummy side pains, and is normally in good health and not pregnant, some possibilities include: liver or gall bladder problems, constipation, stomach flu, twisted bowel, spine problem, etc... Patients with "horrible" pain, meaning worse than mild or moderate, need a doctor's evaluation right away such as in the ER if one's primary care doctor is not readily available.
