Terrible pain in my gut originating on the left side under my ribs, the nausea is horrible, ginger and zofram aren't helping, should i take aleve (naproxen) too?

No: Aleve (naproxen) can be irritating to the stomach. It is also not dealing with the cause of your pain. Once the cause of pain is known, it is okay to treat the pain, but not before. If this has been happening for a while, then see your fam doc. If only acutely (recently), the the ER or an Urgent Care clinic may be your best bet unless you think you can wait for your doc.

No: Your symptoms sound like gastritis, an inflammation of the lining of the stomach, or possibly an ulcer. Aleve (naproxen) is an NSAID as are Motrin or Advil, they can irritate the stomach lining and make it worse. If you are experiencing such severe pain I suggest you be seen by a doctor immediately.
