With the first one: A person with any significantly sized abscess on her skin anywhere, not just on the perineum, should see her primary care doctor. Little pimples that dry up on their own without treatment usually don't need a doctor's evaluation unless recurrent or worrisome. Any abscess bigger than a simple pimple should be checked by one's doctor to find out what is going on.
