Don’t give up!: Try expressing some milk and put it on your sore nipple. Then also try hand expressing milk to continue to stimulate milk production but without the soreness of your baby latching on. You can also start your nursing at each feed for now on the breast which is not sore. If this does not help, please speak to your doctor or a lactation specialist, both of whom can help you. Enjoy your baby!
