Evaluation: You might have a fungal rash around the nipple. No need to stop feeding, but I would have it evaluated to make sure its not mastitis. If its warm to the touch its more likely mastitis.

Mastitis evaluation?: probably nipple cellulitis that you can treat with lanolin or vit e cream along with warm soaks and feed as much as possible. Take your temperature and if it is over 100.4 you may need antibiotics for a mastitis
