With thoughtful care: Humans have all their muscles when they are born. The muscles grow bigger as a body matures, and the muscles then get larger and stronger as they are used. Muscles, joints, bones, nerves, and the brain work and learn together. That is why we should keep moving, stretching, and exercising. Inactivity (voluntary or due to illness) quickly leads to muscles losing strength, size, etc...
