Time to see doctor: Generally, a patient who had lymph node spread of a cancer and is only a few years out from treatment still has to keep monitoring for any possible recurrence. That can be stressful at times, because many people will get false alarms from symptoms that are not cancer recurrences. Sometimes symptoms do turn out to be bad. The only way to know is to evaluate symptoms such as enlarged immobile nodes.
