Confirm a diagnosis: One's doctor can confirm whether or not it is croup. Treatments croup are moist air, corticosteroids, and nebulized epinephrine, but Duolin (ipratropium and salbutamol) is not a usual croup treatment. The anti-inflammatory action of corticosteroids reduces voice box tissue edema and decreases the need for nebulized epinephrine. A doctor's exam is usually needed.
