Yes...: Pinkeye is a non-specific label that can apply to things like airborne allergens that trigger allergic pinkeye, irritants, viruses& bacteria. You may have been treating bacterial pinkeye when it was something else. You may have had an irritant reaction to the eye drops. I doubt you are contagious, but if the eyes are pink you have pinkeye. Another eval may be needed.
