A member asked:

I have a permanent itchy bump on my left thigh since a year now...what can it be? is it a symptom of an underlying illness or its just fungal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can examine: A primary care doctor or a dermatologist can evaluate to see what the bump is, and to start treatment if any is needed. Bumps are hard to describe in words. Bumps that start itching and enlarge after being scratched may contain some histamine, which gets released from the scratching. A bump that moves with skin and doesn't ever change much can be a mole or a tiny skin cyst (like a comedone issue).
