If nausea persists...: A doctor can evaluate if nausea symptoms last more than 2 days. Nausea can be due to many things such as: stomach virus infection, other viral infection (such as flu), some bacterial infections (such as strep throat), acid reflux (heartburn), gastritis (may be H. pylori), gall bladder or liver disease, some cancers, kidney diseases, anxiety, medications, etc... OTC motion sickness pills may help.
