A 29-year-old female asked:
have headaches no painkiller works, what should i do?

See your Dr: It’s important to determine the CAUSE of your headaches if possible, then formulate a plan to not only treat the headache, but also prevent it from recurring. Determining the triggers can be difficult but well worth it in the long run. Not all headaches are treated the same, so see your Dr or a headache specialist and try to keep a headache diary of what makes the pain better or worse will help.

Educate, help, treat: Provide education regarding the dangers of such use. Addiction is a medical disorder that is treatable and can be life saving. Patients must have access to treatment programs that are cost effective and provide quality care. Insurance companies must provide coverage for addictive disorders as they do for other serious and chronic disorders like diabetes and hypertension.

Painkiller: "painkiller" is a general term and not a medical term. Literally, it is something that "kills" the pain. That can include just about anything that is useful or effective.
