Headaches: Headaches are a known side effect of opioid pain killers. Some less than others.

Probable allergy: The headache from the pain meds is from an intolerance level in your body. Instead of taking pain meds , find out what is causing the pain and get that fixed instead of trying to cover the symptoms with pain meds.

See below: Narcotic analgesics are well known to raise intercranial (inside skull) pressure. This may be part of the cause for your headache. Talk to you doctor. It is not an allergy!
