Normally this is aching or tight in nature, situated in the central chest, sometimes in the jaw or arm, related to exertion or stress, relieved by rest or nitroglycerin. But heart pain from blocked coronaries can also vary from that typical pattern. New chest discomfort would definitely need urgent medical evaluation.
