Diabetic snacks: According to the american diabetes association, diabetics should eat snacks low in sugar and fat. Veggies make great snacks such as celery sticks or avocado. String cheese or a whole wheat quesadilla are also good. Nuts and granola are good. Hard boiled eggs are good snacks as well. Portion control is important as well. Please have your diabetic friend get eyes and feet checked twice a year.
