Hi there. ive gone to see a gynae and did all the blood tests to confirm that i suffer from candida. ive been given a diffluzole tablet and betadine vaginal ointment. the problem still persists and i find the ointment burns and i have burn/itch?

Vaginal yeast: Confusing story. There is no blood test for candida. If you have it, fluconazole (Diffluzole is one brand) will cure it, but betadine doesn't help. Perhaps you're now having a reaction to the betadine, which is common. Stop using it and re-check with your doctor or clinc -- or maybe ind a new one. Good luck.
