A member asked:

How long it takes to produce antibody after hpv exposure? i learned that there are antibody tests, two years enough to be detectable after exposure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HPV ?'s: HPV is a viral disease and very contagious. It is usually self limited as the infected individual will gradually build up immunity. The length of time varies, and may not always be detectable. The absence of visible lesions over the two years is the most reliable way to ascertain continued communicability.
