One day ago, i noticed burning skin sensation right below my buttock on thigh. i took off my jeans and pain dissipated within an hour. problem returned today but better now that pants are off. some hip stiffness and quad pain occasionally. ?

Skin burning : More details are needed to understand this well, which is best done with an in-person examination. Trying to piece things together I wonder if you have an inflamed nerve in the back from L4.
