I am 31 year old male. have been experiencing leg pain for about 10 months. manageable except when walking long distance or exercising. i have gotten emg and a bunch of blood tests. all normal. now waiting to get biopsy. very afraid of myopathy.

Biopsy: It sounds like you will have extensive workup trying to rule out myopathy. The history suggests exercise induced myalgia, but work up should help in further delineating a diagnosis. Muscle weakness, more than pain is commonly described in myopathies.
