Ask one's ObGyn Dr.: The TransAct website says, "The safety of TransAct during pregnancy and lactation has not been established." That means a woman must ask her own doctor to get personally suited advice. That said, this NSAID class of drugs is used in pregnancy to treat fever, pain, and inflammation, before 30 weeks gestation. There is more risk of undesired drug effects beyond that gestational age.
