A member asked:

On my blood test it says sed rate ,mod westergren high 36 and hs crp high 10.0 do you know what that means and why its high ??

Hard to guess: Normal, healthy people don't get these blood tests done, so it is hard to know what's going on without seeing the whole picture. That means one's primary care doctor can discuss the lab results and take it from there. Usually he is the ordering doctor, and usually there are more test results. When the results are quite elevated, not just slightly, the patient may have inflammation or infection.
