Depression diagnosis: 1) depressed mood, or 2) loss of interest in activities you used to enjoy. In addition, 4 of the following symptoms: change in sleep, change in appetite/weight, feeling guilty/worthless, low energy, difficulty concentrating, moving more slowly than usual, or suicidal thoughts. Symptoms must last 2 weeks and occur daily. Prognosis for major depression is good. Treatment:psychotherapy and/or meds.

Multiple: Symptoms of depression may include changes in sleep pattern, decreased interests, feelings of guilt, decreased energy, decreased ability to concentrate, appetite changes, thoughts of suicide. If you feel that you may be depressed in any way, i suggest you see a physician immediately.
