Hard to say!: Without seeing these "spots", it is impossible to tell you anything about them. Please discuss the spots with the doctor who ordered the X-rays. Make a list of all your questions and go with your mother to the doctor and ask them. Take notes while there, so you can can be sure you remember correctly and can refer to the notes later, if you need to. Your mom is lucky she has you to care about her!
