Otitis: You may be sensing the skull vibration from the pulsation of your heart. This can happen when the middle ear space is full of fluid. Also, given your symptom of "dizzyness" I would recommend an ENT exam and possible tx with decongestant and antibiotics if bacterial otitis is suspected.

Vertigo: Sounds like you have developed vertigo, and I think likely from fluid on your ear. This explains why you are hearing your heart beat and the fluid will cause a pressure change that can refer to your balance gland. Get checked!
