Tricompartment : The knee joint is divided into 3 divisions. Arthritis occurring in all 3 compartments is the most severe form. If you're overweight reduce weight to take some load of the knee. Physical therapy to strengthen the muscles around the joint helps. Anti-inflammatory medications like Advil and Aleve can relieve pain.
