A member asked:

Persistent generalized headache worse around ears and eyes not responding to paracetamol. improves when lying down in darkness and keeping still. what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Headache: Persistent, steady headache may be due to muscle contraction from tension. A migraine variant is also a possibility. Worsening on exposure to light is nonspecific. If your stomach isn't upset, ibuprofen or naproxen may be more effective. If headache doesn't improve, I recommend consulting a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment.
