I tested ana positive and speckled pattern. i know that can be false positive but been experiencing swollen joints in both of my knees & fatigue & weight loss since sept. doc is sending me to rheumatologist but waiting.what are possible causes?

Speckled ANA: Could be rheumatoid arthritis, mixed connective tissue disease, Sjorens, Lupus or systemic sclerosis. How high was the titer? That is relevant too <1:40, 1:80 is usually not very significant but you do have swollen joints which is seen in arthritis/ connective tissue disease . Follow up with rheumatology call and see if someone cancelled so you could get in earlier.
