I live in denver. every time i fly back to sealevel, i have horrible acid reflux and my digestion gets all screwed up. im not looking for a remedy so much as an answer. why does this happen??

Pressure: Swallowing is influenced by barometric pressure. Your esophagus is part in thorax and part in stomach. There is a pressure difference that effects swallowing. When you go to sea level barometric pressure rises and this is likely cause for symptoms.
