Many possibilities: Can be from a spine or back muscle problem, which needs time to heal and may benefit from anti-inflammatory meds. Can also be a kidney infection which is commonly accompanied by fever and urination symptoms. A doctor can look for other causes such as intestinal problems, bladder or ovary issues, tumors in the area, etc... A patient can write a short diary of her symptoms to show her doctor.
