A member asked:

Is taking 4 pills from a z-pack (1,000mg azithromycin) as affective as a regular dose of 1,000 mg of azithromycin as effective for treating chlamydia? (one pill is white, and i think the other pill is pink)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

1,000=1,000: 1,000 MG of AZITHROMYCIN = 1,000 MG of AZITHROMYCIN, no matter what the packaging or pill color. Different pill colors are very common if the pharmaceutical companies are different. Either way taking 1,000 MG should be the correct treatment for Chlamydia
