Less than 120/80: A blood pressure measurement in the upper arm while resting, in a normal healthy adult, should be less than 120/80. A person may take 2-3 measurements and average them, to get his blood pressure reading. If he has medical conditions, his blood pressure goal may be different... so he should discuss such issues with his primary care doctor.
