With varied symptoms, one has to get a calendar (find a free calendar online) and write down the various symptoms, when they occur, what the symptoms interfere with, what makes symptoms worse, what makes symptoms better, what activities are done each day, what foods are eaten each day... and bring the diary to his doctor for an in-person exam.
