I have ss sle ra with a new finding of enlarged paratracheal lymph node. i now have voice loss and difficulty swallowing. is surgery a treatment? i have been on steroids and abx for 7 days 6th round

Surgery : Would not be a first line treatment here and until there is better understanding of the nature of the lymph node. In case your symptoms do not improve it is likely that an attempt will be made to biopsy the lymph node.
